I would like to get a 2011 sport front bumper and throw it on my 2012 base. I was wondering if it's a direct fit and what's needed for the conversion. Any help is appreciated thanks.

 

I did the opposite, putting a 2011 base bumper onto a 2011 Fit Sport. Sport bumper got stolen (long story) and I couldn't find a reasonably priced Sport bumper to put on it. I had minor fitment issues with the plastic skirts underneath in the center as well as the outer wheel wells. But anything that didn't clip in or attach was easily tucked up and secured out of the way.

But around the headlights, along the center, and everywhere there was a firm mount it fit like a glove.

 

Found a couple bumpers hopefully I won't have any issues
