Depending upon your budget, I'd go for a 2013. If you want a manual, the search might take longer, but the price may be lower. Good luck in your search! Also, your location will be a factor in availabilithy. Good luck to you!

 

'12 or '13 5MT is the way to go

 

12'-13' FIT Sport or Base (if you're looking for even less bank but on used market you're talking $500 to $750 difference). They got a decent amount of updates including one that reduced the amount of road noise in 09'-11' MY. This being road noise The models I recommended and other got "Acoustic Glass" in the front side glass and I think a few other spots. I came from a 08' Acura TL and my 13' FIT Auto is just as quiet. I'm sure the manual is fun but per your duties commuting to/from work and traffic or freeway time (the manual in 5th @70mph if running 1400 to 1500rpm higher @70mph because of gearing so test drive both on all the kind of roads u primarily drive. I recommend an at least 20-30min test drive to see how your back manages Some have complained months after they purchased buts some Clazzio Seat cover can fix since we put memory foam in our Leatherette and Leather seat covers.
