Best place to buy lower brace?

Hey guys, long time no see.

My KMR lower tie brace that I got here through a Tiger Tuning group buy has finally took one too many hits and started rattling against the wheel mount. So I'm in need of a replacement.

Trouble is I don't even know where to start looking. I saw Cusco had one for $200, which seems abnormally high compared to prices of similar parts for other vehicles. Tiger Tuning seems to be defunct as well now.

Anyone know where I can get a lower front tie brace for my 2010 Fit that would be easy to purchase with shipping to the US? The moment I took the other one off I noticed significant decline in handling and the car just isn't the same with the brace off.

Thanks for the help,
Indie

The lower arm: Vehicle Results

Looks like there are two versions. A two-point for $100 and a four-point for $200 that can be used together. The version one said it requires trimming, which I'd like to avoid. Didn't have to do any of that for my KMR.

no trimming required on the v1 and v2 bars. although v1 wont work well with an AT. u can buy them straight from japan for about half price respectively + shipping.

Looks like AJ-Racing has the T1R brace for a good price. I'm going to contact them about shipping to TX.

Thanks. What's the reason for v1 not working well with an AT?

V1 seems more similar to the KMR I had prior.

Dang, that's what my KMR was hitting after taking one too many hits. Shame Cusco didn't plan around that mount being there.

Either contact Bean Garage, or try Ultra Racing.

SPOON FRONT LOWER ARM BAR HONDA FIT GD1

Saw this on the local Craigslist: Spoon front lower arm bar.

Maybe the seller is willing to ship it to you.

cusco made it for jdm fits. not for usdm. apparently our mounts are much different. i took mine off. i replaced the torque rod mount thinking it was damaged. it still looks perfect.

OMG. That Spoon one! If only I didn't have my T1R, I'll take that in a heartbeat.

But wait, the OP has a GE, is that going to fit?

I guess it's more likely because there's not much demand for it. Just like how Kraftwerks discontinued the supercharger kit for the GD.

It took me more than a year to find all my T1R bars. Best bet is to just contact someone from Asia, or just wait until a used one comes up locally.
