2009 Fit Sport. was thinking of going LED because of the small battery. and to improve brightness. What have you guys found? I dont want to replace entire housings...just the bulbs.

There are I believe a number of threads on this. People in particular replace the trunk light with a new one that also has a switch in it, I believe.

I should probably do it soon myself. (see my battery thread)...

I've yet to find bulb list for 12-13 and the bulbs air indeed different. The only bulb that the 2nd Gen list was right was cargo build. I have navi so my reading lights are same as the 1st Gen TSX but w/o homelink buttons which were on the list as T10 plunge in. My reading like should have a tube with connection attached at ends. The same type bulb but on the list was different and finally nothing was ever said about the size of mood lighting build that dimly lit the front cup holders in forward center console only the sport got.

A panel of led in the dome light is a great one to start with if you're changing to led bulbs. The factory bulb is way too dim to be useful.

Every light in my fit is led except the xenon headlight projectors. Best plug and play leds for outdoor duty is the vleds triton bulbs. Go check out vleds.com

Haha you dont trust vleds anymore? I guess dont blame you after your experiences. I dont think thats typical though.

How would you mount the 4th brake light?

I ordered LEDs for my 13 Fit Sport from Super Bright LEDs. Desmond, you are correct that some are different, but not that many. If I remember correctly, the ones that turned out to be different for me were the dome light and the trunk light. Fortunately, what I had ordered included some extras and I also swapped the trunk light lens from my 2005 TSX with the one from the Fit to accommodate the LED I had ordered for the Fit after I discovered it didn't fit in the Fit's lens.

Like Cruatchi, I also used a panel for the dome light. Much better lighting!

For a 2009 Fit, these should be correct. Here's what I ordered:
  • 4 WLED-x5:194 LED Bulb - 5 LED Wide Angle Wedge Base - WLED-NW5: Natural White
  • 1 WLED-xHP10-DAC:194 LED Bulb - 10 SMD LED Wedge Base - WLEDWWHP10- DAC: Warm White
  • 1 74-xHP3:74 LED Bulb - 3 SMD LED Wide Angle Wedge Base - 74-BHP3: Blue
  • 3 3022-xHP4: DE3175 LED Bulb - 4 SMD LED Festoon - 3022-WWHP4
  • 1 UPCB-xWHP30-T3.25: 30 High Power LED Rectangle PCB Lamp w/ Wedge Base - UPCB-WWHP30-T3.25: Warm White T3.25 Base

I don't have an 09. I have 13' navi. There is no list for 12'-13'. I bought bulbs for 09' b4. Y car was delivered thinking they'd be the same. The only bulb that worked was cargo area light. All I'm asking is if someone could make a sticky for the 2.5 Gen models including the mood lighting bulb over the center cup holders/storage. I may just have a guy at Advanced Auto Parts piece meal a list, price that way because I'm not getting as clear of an answer here as I thought. You don't even list what each bulb in the list was for. I'd be foolish to follow that list. Thank you for trying. I mean that.

I'll post later when I'm at home where each bulb goes — and mine is a '13. I used the 09 as a starting point for mine and, like I mentioned, only had one or two LEDs that were different. I can't imagine yours will be much different even though you have a model with Navi. There could be variances between my Chinese built Canadian model versus your American market model though. We'll have to see.

As for the one over the cup holders, I do know it was this one: 1 74-xHP3:74 LED Bulb - 3 SMD LED Wide Angle Wedge Base - 74-BHP3: Blue

Did that too, quite happy with it. Also put in a PIAA rear fog that's LED. About as visible as the brake lights. I wired it to the license plate lights so it's on whenever they are.
