A refundable deposit is standard for rentals but Hertz only charged me $50.

Enterprise did charge the $100 deposit to my card, but as said above, it's refundable.

I got my loaner the other day, but guy from enterprise keep calling me to upgrade my ford fiesta to a mustang for additional $5 bucks a day...
Then called me again if i wanted a prius for additional $$$ per day i forgot amount he said. The ford fiesta mpg isnt as goo as i thought i would

On my fit i can get 400 miles per full-up.
I travel 97 miles round trip work-house everyday

Miles per tank is not an accurate measurement of fuel efficiency. FWIW, the 2016 Fiesta auto is rated at 37 mpg to the GE8 Fit auto's 35. It's extremely rare when I get below 40 mpg in our five-speed Fiesta hatch.

Did they tell you how long you would have the rental? I would do an extra $5 if it was a week or so. A month, probably not.

I only got under 50 MPG once in my Fiesta.

Only had it for 4.5 months though.

Worst car I've ever owned.

I'll go get a new contract every 20 days as well. The contracts aren't connected, so SF doesn't really have to know the rentals are consecutive. I've been trying to reach my case worker at Honda for 4 days to discuss the insurance issue. She hasn't called back. I'm getting a bit irate about that.

The dealership did not tell me how long it will take to get the car fix. besides that dealer rep was really nice and easy to work with.

and NO. I dont want to upgrade. I Do NOT want to pay $5/day.

"If you carry collision coverage on your car, then you may be eligible for the California Deductible Waiver. With this waiver, your insurance company will pay the collision deductible on your car if an uninsured driver causes an accident."

I just stopped my local Honda dealership to fill out the paperwork for my rental. The lady there kept telling me that she's been told that the parts will be available as early as mid-April. Anyone else heard that?

When I spoke to the dealership's manager last week, he did mentioned that the parts might be in by April, but I was irate about something else so I didn't pursue it. I hope it's true----I miss my Fit!
