2013 fit base and automatic transmission fluid
I have 46,000 miles on my 2013 fit. will a reminder come on when I need to drain/flush the automatic transmission fluid. the only reminder I have had is for oil change which I do at 15%. how much will this procedure cost? I never had this done with my old 2002 Toyota corolla. thank you

Have you read the owner's manual? They are available online through the Honda website. Will answer all of your questions. The cost will depend on whether you do it yourself, at an independent mechanic or the dealer.
The fluid is around $7-8/quart and you will need around 3 quarts to do it yourself. It is a very easy DIY though. Easier than an oil change really.

I agree with Hondu. If you do it yourself, go with 4 QT of Honda ATF, as mine took a little over 3 QT, not the 2.6 QT per the Owner's Manual. I let it drain for several hours. You'll use the square end of a 3/8" Socket Wrench to loosen the drain plug. Wipe it off to clean it of dregs. You'll not be able to drain all of the ATF, so some Owners repeat the procedure shortly after completing the first. ATF fluid filter is optional; I replaced mine at near 60,000 Miles
It took me longer to get the fluid level perfect than it did everything else!
