Change/Upgrade 2012 Headlight (Bulbs)
The original, OEM headlights on my 2012 seem to be getting dim. Wondering if anyone has a replacement bulb they really like?
My past experience with aftermarket (Sylvania) bulbs was 'meh' at best but that was 10 years ago. They were inexpensive but super blue and didn't last long.
Gimme some wisdom, por favor.

none of the marketed "brighter" bulbs last long. You get a year if you are lucky. The stock bulbs lasted longer. I know a retrofit is a far cry from what you are asking, but its the direction I went with.

I have been rocking LED headlight bulbs for nearly three years now with zero issue. They are white and bright but not nearly as annoying as HID's because they are focused much more like a standard halogen bulb. They are extremely reliable as well.
Only one complaint. In extremely cold weather (say zero f.) your lenses tend to freeze over and the LED's are simply not hot enough to melt the ice like halogens do. I just scrape my headlights when I scrape my windows is all.
