A few weeks ago in a grocery store parking lot while it was dark & raining I accidently "kissed" the right edge of my front bumper off my Honda Fit against a concrete pylon. I was going less than 1mph when it happened. The next day I discovered my washer fluid tank was empty despite filling it up only a week before. I filled it again and the fluid all leaked out.
I took off the front bumper, headlight, and washer fluid reservoir to discover a nipple broke off that black & white component causing the fluid to leak out. That component is only available as part of a new pump (even though it's easy to pop off of the pump assembly). The Honda online price is $45+ for the assembly. On researching other options I was looking at EBay and Amazon. eBay had an identically similar part for 2011 Honda CRV for $13. I cross-referenced this to Amazon, where it was $7 with Prime. Another Fit owner commented on Amazon that it worked for him. I received it last week and installed it today and it works perfectly. Durability is TBD.
