We just got our white fit sport with navigation. They forgot to put the side molding on and said they had no accesories in yet. My wife wants to put the dark blue side molding on for contrast. Does anyone think this is a good idea. I'm afraid she won't like it and when she don't like something it costs me $$$$$$$$$$$
How about painting the roof black or dark blue (just between the lines and not including the "spoiler"). It'll look like you've got a tinted "skyroof."
My BBP Sport MT delivered 9-12.
Bought our "09" Blue Sensation with Navi on September 6th.
Got a great deal (below MSRP) from Shawn Kim at Buena Park Honda!
The wife LOVES it. It was the first one Buena Park Honda sold!!!!!

Ordered an '09 Sport MT on Monday. Black with cargo tray, block heater and locking lugs as the only dealer options. Supposedly, it was built on August 6th and is currently in transit--- if the dealer's manifest is to be believed.
Blue Sensation FIT AT, Sport Trim w/Navi. Picked it up Tuesday, 9/16.
BTW my dealer called me the day before on 9/15 and I came by the dealership to test drive a SSM. He tried to get me to buy it because my ordered Blue Sensation supposedly wasn't going to be in "'til hopefully by the end of the month." Next day he called and I was like OH MY GOSH... WHAT IF I HAD BOUGHT THE SSM! And he was saying I didn't order Navi... and I said yes I did... so he told me the SSM with Navi was available... I was about to cry that night 9/15 but when I picked my car up with NAVI on Tuesday, I bit my tongue since I ended up getting what I wanted in the end.

Went to the dealer today to test drive the new 09 Fit, no plans to buy, and ended up walking out with a White AT Sport. I need to take it back next week so they can put the tint on, but I'm happy with it so far. Now I'm just looking at picking up some aftermarket accessories to finish it off.

Where'd you get yours, Bell or Arrowhead?

Yeahhhh! The wait is over. What color/type? I'm still trying to decide what mods to do first. All I've done so far is the interior lights. Oh... and trying to find cheap insurance! .::gulp::.

I just saw a silver Sport on my block...gorgeous!!! Storm Silver looks great on this car! Makes it look expensive. Who would think that a $16k car would evoke comments like, "Gorgeous"?
Finally got to pick up my SSM AT Sport yesterday. Loving it so far.
Gripes first: got all-weather mats from the dealer but they didn't install (or give me) the anchors, just put the mats on the floor like regular mats so going to need to call them tomorrow to get them to finish the job. They put on a dealer front-plate and I was initially pissed but took it off and they had not drilled any holes in the front of the bumper, so great in the end - looks so much better without it.
The only thing on the actual car I'm not sure about is the seat comfort - my lower back has been aching driving it, but think I will get used to it once I find my best driving position..
Now the good: LOVE IT TO PIECES!
USB interface is great - was thinking about getting an iPod to use with it but just dumping mp3s on a flash drive works so great and is so much cheaper that I'm just gonna buy a bigger flash drive...
Love the gauges at night, looks like a videogame.
Very surprised by just how spacious the interior feels, wife and sister-in-law have been in it and both commented that when you're sitting in it it doesn't feel like a sub-compact - I'm 6' even and have a couple inches spare headroom. Also love the quality of the interior, dials/buttons feel satisfyingly chunky and weighty...
Finally - I'm really surprised by the engine response/power I've only done 150 or so miles so been taking it easy (36.5 mpg so far) and keeping the revs down, but did a short highway run and was doing 70 with barely having to tap the pedal to get there and the noise was so quiet. It feels like there's going to be a lot of power there when I finally get to stamp my foot down. Can't wait!
I thought the same thing. I've found myself "playing" with the throttle to keep the mpg meter above 40. That thing is seriously going to change the way I drive.
