Yes, of course, well done... my tire changes haven't been that often in the past but now with two Fit sports in the family this might be an excellent strategy.

Wheels are listed as 16X6J at Bernardi Honda (and made by Kosei)

interesting, i always thought that enkei made honda's oem rims. well they do for the gd at least.

honda lists the proper tire size for the upcoming xj wheels which are 16x6.5 as 205 45(50?) r 16's....wonder why tire rack does not list that as an optional size.

I've replaced 3 stock Dunlops on my '09 Sport since October of 2008.

When the first one happened, I went through a few hours of frustration where I called all my local tire shops and they were all like "Sorry, that tire is on national back order!"

I ended up calling my dealership, and the parts department was like "Um...call your sales guy?" I was like "WTF?" but called and my sales guy was about as helpful as a rock. The head of the parts dept. got wind of my call and called me back, saying "Oh, yeah we can get that tire for you! It's $160/pop."

That's when I called my contact at TireRack and asked "Why, man, WHY?!"

The jist I got from Tirerack was that the stock Dunlops were under restricted sale to dealerships only. Sure, TireRack HAD them, but wouldn't sell them at MSRP to anyone except dealers. I got them for cheap from my buddy anyways, but in hindsight, it would have been time to invest in alternatively sized tires after the first flat...

I put some some Diamond Racing wheels with 205/50-15's. The next step might be 225/45-15s.

Road holding FTW!
