Thanks for loading that. Sounds way better than stock, though I like my new Fiamm El Grande sound better. I played an OEM 08 Accord horn and the Fiamms side-by-side and they sound pretty much identical which is good.

Would it be really easy to install the high frequency Accord horn as well?

I found out that my '07 Accord has the same horn as the '08 - maybe the angle bracket is different but the horn unit itself is the same. So I have a clip of low + high Accord horn to share...

YouTube - 2007 Honda Accord Low + High Horn Sound

And I got another for comparison of the '08 Accord low horn in my Fit...

YouTube - 2008 Honda Accord Low Horn Sound

Both sound way better than the stock Fit horn.

I think you're right about the 07 Accord and 08 Accord horns being identical:

YouTube - 2009 TSX "Switchblade" key in a 2008 Accord Coupe

I gotta say, I'm lovin my new Fiamm dual horns which sound identical also to the Accord horns. Already it makes a huge difference in traffic. Motorist response is very different - they yield now instead of scoff or laugh.

Just finished the '09 Accord horn replacement.. it took me about 30 minutes from start to finish, and I love the way it sounds. Thanks again, guys... can't wait for the first chance to justifiably use it

So they sound almost alike?

Knowing that now would you have gone with the 08 Accord horn since it's supposedly an easier install?
(I dont want to have to run a seperate relay)

It wouldn't have been any simpler an install because you would still need a fuse for more amps for the second horn. The horn you hear here (hear here, hehe) is just a single horn.

I'm lovin the sound and strength of my new horn, thank you thank you TKZ12NO1.

Has anyone checked the current draw of the Accord horn, compared to the stock one?

Unless somebody else beats me to it, I can check tonight.. my gf has a '09 Accord EX 4dr, and I'll see if hers sounds like mine (I just put my Accord horn in last night).. this is, of course, you're wanting a comparison between the stock Fit horn and the Accord horn, right?

Its marked 4A vs. 3.5A for the stock one, and the fuse is a 7.5A. I think there's sufficient power... for the Accord low horn only, in the Fit.

The Diablo's are 2 horns? Can't you just install 1 of the Accord horns without the fuse relay? Or do they both have to be installed?

I have no idea about wiring electrical devices.

So I'm guessing if you install the low horn you wouldn't need a fuse relay, cause there is sufficient amp tolerance.

Mr B will become famous soon enough
So no one can confirm if the GD3 (1st gen) can use this too? My dinky horn doesn't do much good in LA traffic...

Wheres the best place you guys have gone to for this horn?

I'm looking to swap out the stock horn because it sounds like a scooter horn. My friends broke out in laughter when I beeped the car for them Friday night haha.

I'm not sure if it's an exact swap; however, I think I read over in the GD3 thread that you have to drop the front bumper cover to access the horn, but it's an easy teardown.

Let us GD3ers know how it goes!
I want a bigger better horn but don't want to go through with a whole air horn install...

Ditto that. I paid $18 total for mine and I got it immediately at my local Honda store.
