Fedex just delivered and I did mine in 10 minutes. Easy mod. I cut one of the retaining clips on the shroud housing the hood latch, but with the new horn it fits snugly in place (minus the clip on that side). Just dont rush, read this thread, and take ur time.

lol, wow i never thought it would get this big! i did it as a shot in the dark when i bought it and now look! everyone is doing it. im very pleased to see everyone has found this to be useful! next ill look into switching out the alarm horn cause it stil sounds the same. let u guys know soon as i find out!
I was tired of the stock weak horn on my GE8 but didnt want to opt for after market autozone crap (no offence to anyone here running that on they're fit) but i cant stand unsitely wires comin from the battery.
so heres what i did, i bought the OEM horn from the 2009 Honda Accord. now if you decide to do this know that the Accord uses 2 horns. a high pitch and a low pitch. BUY THE LOW PITCH.
install is exactly like the factory horn. physically they look different but hook up is the same. so no need to cut wires, run wires, hook up to the battery or nothing.
here is the part # 38100-STK-A02
Ordered mine today through a local dealer for $20.00, be here tomorrow! Thanks for the thread.

I had the local dealer honk an Accord, Odyssey, and Ridgeline/Pilot so I could pick the loudest one. Honestly I really couldn't tell much difference by ear so I went with the truck one figuring it was probably the loudest by some small degree.
The Ridgeline/Pilot low tone horn is pn 38100-s9V-A12 ($14.55 at my local dealer).
I didn't have to pull on the wire to get more slack and I had no interferences with anything on the car (just loosen the 10 mm bolt on the horn bracket and clock it around until you get the sweet spot you need).
Add me and my wife to the list of happy people no longer "meep-meeping" our way through traffic!

For everyone having issues with wire harness slack, you can also reposition the black BRACKET the actual horn body is bolted onto - just loosen the 10mm nut on the bracket on the horn body and adjust as needed. It's torqued quite a bit and hard to get a good grip, so be careful.
Just don't angle to trumpet up (don't know if it's possible), you don't want water getting into it.
Also, as people have mentioned, the ALARM horn is under the driver's side (left) headlight assembly. If you have a SPORTS version, you can get to it by removing the fog light assembly and looking slightly upwards.
You can also access it through the engine bay with the right sized extensions/tools. It is visible though the engine bay without removing any covers.
I did the horn mod a few weeks back, a simple, low cost and worth while upgrade.
Until I went to use my horn the other day and it sounded like someone had stuffed a bunch of socks in it. It made noise but no volume at all, just a muffled honk.
Checked my fuses, no problems there... I swapped the OEM horn back in (good thing I kept it) and it had no issues and it worked fine. I tried putting back in the Accord horn and still got the bundle of socks stuffed in it sound, grrr!
An Accord horn just gone bad?
Any one else have something like this?
Bernardi got it for me on 3/11/09, think they will send out a new one?
