That's vol. 95 I just bought from yahoo auctions japan. I saw it had the the new Fit so I got that along with Vol. 94 (for all the GTR stuff) and VTEC Club vol. 6 just because.
I love the Best Motoring Videos from Japan. Even though I cant understand a single word I still think they are 10 times better then the ones that get released here in the US.

Sorry for bringing this old thread back but just got my BM Hot Version Vol.95 in from japan.
The GE had a
k20 swap 230ps and weighed in at 1050kg
Teins
Brembo brakes
215/45/17 in the front and 195/55/15 in the rear
1'06"163 at tsukuba
vs. the J's GD 1'02"256 (330ps and weighed 880kg)
The GE was giving up 70hp to the next closest car which was the EG Hatch (which didn't race for some reason) 100hp to the J's
What you don't see is at the start the GE gets a 5 sec head start before they let the rest of the field go.
Then a couple seconds later they let the full carbon Top Fuel S2000 (730ps and weighed 1080kg) go. The Top Fuel S2000 ran a 57.711 best lap and just barely came in second place by the end of the race.
Im sorry to say the GE got passed by everyone.
Oh well it was still cool to see it on the track

The picture doesn't actually show all the vehicles that raced. (like the EG hatch didn't run)
The car at the end that almost wins after having the handicap start was the Top Fuel, full carbon s2000. running 57's. And it is an awesome car, got to see it in person at the Tokyo Auto Show couple of years back
