Just to add my two cents here. An easy way to remove the rear emblem without damaging it is like I said in another thread... just take a putty knife wrap it with a paper towel (so you don't scuff up the black on the hatch) slide the putty knife behind the emblem until its touching the stud. Then take a rubber mallet and tap on the stud and it breaks right off (just plastic). Then just pull the emblem right off. This way you don't damage the emblem and don't damage the door. If you ever want to reuse the stock emblem just glue back on or use emblem double sided tape to reapply.

The H red emblem does not sit flat on the rear garnish of our Ge Fit.
You will notice a slight curve surface o nthe rear.
Can someone advise me how to fix the rear emblem

it says that once you lay it down, the emblem will contour to the bend...but when i did mine today, i put a thin layer of 3m industrial double side tape on the bottom 1/4 to compensate so the emblem isn't under so much tension when bent into that position.
