Does anyone here beside me thinks that the 09 Fit Sport has a bumpy ride? I mean I feel every bump on the road? Coming from a Lexus I feel a lot of difference. Anyone know how to make it more less bumpy? New tires? Suspension? Springs? Any help would be appreciated

if you're coming from a lexus (though i don't know specifically which model), most other cars will have a harsher ride quality. the fit is no exception. if you want, you can get some oversized tires to absorb more road bumps, or change out your suspension but i have yet to see any aftermarket company that produces a softer ride than stock for the fit or any car for that matter.
yeah it is bumpy, less so than my 07, but I ride snowmobiles and motorcycles so the fit is my Lexus LOL
Always try the cheapest thing first, try 29 LBS tire pressure, could throw your TPMS light on, in that case try 32 lbs.
Generally a Honda/Acura will ride rougher than a lexus/Toyota.
Honda goes for handling dynamics and road feel. Toyota goes for isolation and luxury.
Fit is ultra short wheelbase car, only so much you'll be able to do no matter how much $$$ you throw at it.
Again I like it.

your lexus was probably twice the cost of your fit. and probably twice as heavy. i don't mean to be an ass, but what did you expect?
My Fit doesn't feel the same today as the day I test drove one. Seems like all of the body parts are worn in now, so bumps and everything seem a bit louder than before. Next mod (when I get some dough) will be sound deadening the Fit.

driving a lexus is like riding on cloud. it's silky smooth, buttery soft, and as quite as you can get. that's why it's a lexus. it's a luxury car. our little Fit is on the other side of hte spectrum. both are reliable good cars, for different people's needs.
my last car was a camry, so it took a little getting used to the Fit's ride feel. however you will get used to it. i could probably lease a Camry again for less than what I am paying for the Fit, but the Fit is a better "fit" for my current needs.
I was on T1R coilovers, lowest stiffest setting for about a month or so. Driving it daily, the ride was INSANELY harsh. Crazy bumpy and bouncy. So i decided although i loved the way the coilovers performed at the track, i'd just go back to lowering springs and sell the coils. So, yesterday i removed the coils and went back to stock struts and Skunk2 lowering springs, and let me tell ya, i feel like my car rides like a Lexus now haha! No joke, since im coming from such hell i feel like my car rides amazingly smooth and comfortable. I cant imagine how smooth and comfortable stock springs must feel haha.
But as said, the Fit isnt a Lexus, but the and "rough ride" your feeling really isnt rough on the grand scale of things. if you dislike it that much, go back to the Lexus if i could afford it, id be rolling a IS350, not a Fit heh.
Coming from a Lexus, I understand how you feel. Yes, the GE8's valving and spring rates are higher than that of a Lexus. Also, the chassis of the GE8 is pretty stiff. I can't really tell you how to reduce the harshness of the ride. Personally, I think the GE8 is pretty comfortable. Then again, I'm coming from an Integra with TEIN Flex coilovers. I'm used to stiff rides.

on bigger bumps I dont like it but on the whole its fine, But I not driving cuz its quiet and a luxury car...it saves me MONEY!!!! has good style(Im a fan of fat hamsters) call me a whore but thats all I care about, having said that I did mod it so I do have what my friend calls "pride of ownership"

Suggestion: Get a set of Monroe MA 793 Air shocks for the rear suspension. In my '07 Sport, I replaced the stock rear shocks with Monroe MA 811's, and the ride quality was greatly improved. The MA 793's are the right size for the GE's. In addition to much better compression and rebound damping, you also get ride height compensation for up to 1200 pounds of additional payload. Meaning, if you could fit them in the car, you could add six more 200 pound guys without dragging the back bumper on the ground.
People who race in Auto X events commonly use the Monroe Air Shocks to seriously improve handling, and people who use trailers with the Fits use the extra weight capacity of the shocks to compensate for trailer tongue, and payload, weight.
I have a set of the MA 793 shocks in transit right now, so I can't say from personal experience that they improve the ride. But my experience with the MA 811's on my '07 Fit Sport confirms that the Monroe shock valving and quality beats the hell out of Honda stock shocks.
PM me in a couple of weeks and I'll let you know how the ride is improved with the Monroe Air Shocks. The stock ride quality of the GE8 is much improved over the stock ride of the GD3. If that weren't the case, I would have ordered the Monroe Air Shocks the day I drove my GE8 home from the dealer.
