What did you do to your GE fit today?

replacing brake pads on my fit today. Decided to go with EBC greenstuff after my previous experiences with them.
quick question for anyone that has replaced their pads thus far. Is it necessary to remove the 17mm bolts that are thread sealed?
I think they are the caliper mounting bolts. Could I just get away with removing the 12mm bolts on the caliper, the ones with the boot on them, slide the caliper apart and put the pads in?
I thought I read that somewhere but couldnt find anything on the site regarding that.

I got Enkei RPF-01 14x7 19et on my Miata, great for that car light and smaller wheels look great on the NA. In addition the car may maybe lucky see 6k of driving a year so more expensive JDM wheels would not be worth it.

on the other hand, my 12 GE got a set of dressup enkei t-forks and decent RE760 summer tires and will be driven all the time going everywhere i please rain or shine. when they look worn, i will just replace them with something new.

I rarely drive, so even with the Fit being my daily driver, I've never put more than 5k miles on a car in one year.
I still buy the best wheels I can afford.
As for track wheels...they're too expensive for beater wheels. I'd use Koseis.

TINT Day!
Had 15% tint on everything behind B pillars, and 4" bar at top of windshield...can't do more glass and remain legal in CA, although CA does not have tint maximums in the back...go as dark as you like, as long as not reflective.
I like the job done even though they had an "oops" and broke part of my rear view center mirror...parts coming in from Honda tomorrow, tint shop says. But they didn't try to hide their mistake, and are taking care of the matter. I'm fine with that, because sh*t happens, it's how it's taken care of that counts.

Had some new meat delivered for the circuit CE28s...
Going 215/50 up front and the 195/55 in the rear this time versus 205/50 all around. Last set lasted 4 circuit days and about 5.5 total hours of running.

I took a picture of the Clazzios that I recently had installed:
Here is a pic of what they went into:
Another view of the PMM 2012 Sport AT:
So far:
De-badged rear, OEM Console, OEM Cargo Cover, OEM Cargo Tray,
Swift Springs, Progress Anti-roll bar, Clazzio Seat Covers, Blue LED
Map Lights, Dome Light, Cargo Light, Tinted Windows ( 35% everywhere except Rear 15%).

Large number of folks in the this forum who have changed wheels, the
Stock wheels have perhaps achieved a certain level of uniqueness
I did come within a few seconds of pitching the OEM tires for the
Kumho Ecsta 4x 205/50R16 but my penurious nature prevents me from pitching
a set of tires with less than 1000 miles.
