^ What he said. Rear discs look great! Probably perform way better than drums, too.

I like them :-)
I got mine from the dealer I purchased the car from in Tarrytown, NY. You can get them from the go to website though.

I haven't been here in a couple years, but my Fit was still cruising along just fine. Went last week to upgrade my worn-out Dunlop stockers to 205/50/16 Yoko YK580 tires and found out a wheel had a cross-threaded lug on it from when they replaced a damaged tire a few months back.

They couldn't get it off with 2 people and an airgun, so they torched the lug until it fell out of the wheel. Ruined factory alloy, stud, and lug. I've been driving to and from work on the damn temp spare for 2 days while they order a new factory wheel and put my 4th new Yoko on it.

Argggh!

P.S. Hey, everyone! Long time no speak!

I'm sorry to hear that you are having that kind of hassle.. I haven't been online here much myself in quite sometime.. My Fit needs attention that I'm going to have to get my 41 year old son to give me a hand with.. I'll probably have to have to make out a will stating that he will get the car when I die..

Good to hear from ya, T.C.!

my Fit is promised to my eldest niece.... not that I've had to ask for her assistance on any work on the car. It only has 22,000 miles!

Still no word on my replacement wheel. I really don't want to drive a 3rd 30mi round trip on the donut.

Nice work! Is that the 8400? Did you use the honda pilot trim piece? I have the 8400 and wish it was more flush even though it detaches. I haven't used a trim piece as of yet, not sure how I want to secure it. Thanks!

Wow what hacks!
Seriously they couldn't use a breaker bar to just shear it off???

I've had this happen on other cars and just easier to break the damn thing off instead of toasting a wheel and tire.
Just breaker bar pipe and a couple fat guys will take care about any lug out there! Air guns only have so much torque.

Sorry to hear that. If it's any consolation, I just shredded my two back tires running over some yahoos Thule roof rack that was left in the road.

yesterday i removed the grill on my '12 sport and painted the background of the H emblem. that part was fine.

putting the grill back onto the car i couldnt get the bottom part to slide fully to clamp
the bumper and frame together. is there a trick to this? i need to go at it again tonight. right now it's only like half way in.
all the thin tabs are aligned.. it's just the center part i cant get it to fit correctly.

It's the Pioneer AVH-X8550BT (aka X8500BT in the States).
The facia is by a brand called Aerpro. The quality is ok but nowhere near as sturdy as OEM.

Get our votes up on Hondata.com and catch up with the leader, here is trick:

Use different internet web browsers. I used Safari, Internet Explorer and Google Chrome and was able to vote on each.

So use multiple platforms like ipad, iphone, laptop, etc and use multiple web browsers!

The trick is putting a piece of masking tape on first to give you a level line. Use a level if you want, or just eyeball it. Use the tape as the bottom edge of the decal.
