Definitely lower it...changes the cars appearance dramatically.

My opinion? Forget the kit. Doesn't do anything for your ride. I'm with danielg - blow the cash for the kit on coilovers instead. Lowering does quite a lot to improve your car's look IMO - and it can either firm up your handling or soften the ride, depending on what you get.
lower your car first only if you are going to match those springs with shocks or you are doing coilovers.
do it right the first time.
and remember, how ugly someone thinks the mugen kit is is their own opinion, not fact. and you can do little things here and there with the mugens stuff since you dont have to buy it all at once.
