I had ordered a J's short antenna from A&J, but in the end they said that the J's antenna wouldn't fit and that they had a Spoon Sports antenna, so here it is
The box was so tiny I thought they had sent me the wrong part.
The antenna is less the half the size of the OE one
and I didn't loose any radio reception either

I love my Spoon antenna. I never use the radio, so I'd love to shave the whole assembly off sometime. But for now, the Spoon is the way to go. OEM antenna is ridiculous

Looks as though the threads are just a bit longer preventing it from sitting flush at the base?

I got a Agency Power Universal one in gunmetal looks nice, works well, was plug and play(I unscrewed the old one and put in the new one in seconds) it even improved my radio reception when my HID lights are on(with the oe antenna the HID lights would cause static, but this one solved the issue)
Did you loose any reception? How's the quality build?
I didn't lose any local station reception at all. I do live in the suburbs so signal strength is never really an issue. Even when I'm away from the city I still have no problems picking up stations so I think its just as good as the stock antenna.
The build quality is excellent. Its aluminum so its pretty strong. The finish is good and hasn't faded one bit. Like I said before I've had it 6 months and looks like the day I bought it.

Its probably the one Agency buys and brands it as theirs... had I know I would have gone with the 10 dollar one as well...but Im happy with mine also, just 20 bucks poorer
