I like this bike rack.

I finaly got the hitch on and bought a new bike rack. It's a Swagman XC, and I really like it. It was much cheaper then the Thule/Yakima racks (140. CND). The reciver has a bolt not a pin so there is no slop at all. I can put my bike on and off in under 1 minute, and I don't have to worry about the bike hanginging on the frame and scratching it.
I'm not an engineer but I also think that there has to be less leverage on the hitch with the platform type set up.

I don't know about less leverage with the platform setup but the stiffer it's joint to the hitch the safer it's gonna be as far as leverage. Looks good, that's an attractive bike, too!

Thanks, the bike is my baby. It's a full custom built by Hugh Black at True North Bicycles. It is the best thing I have ever bought. I've had it for just over 2 years and ride it a lot.
The Brooks is finally comfortable. For the first year it was kind of a love/hate relationship. I loved the way it looked, and it felt fine for a couple of hours, but after that PAIN! I swapped out the seatpost (more set back) and put a few more thousand klics on it and now I can ride all day and my butts pane free.

The foreign (to the USA) Fit's get such good options with them.... Why would they give them those ungodly hideous rims... They make me want to puke my pants

Anyways... that bike rack is awesome, I was exploring options, however I'll probably just end up throwing them in the back.
