Good one! My ex and I had a '95 SC2, and I wouldn't take a free Saturn now.

I'm taking care of my brothers '06 Hyundai Sonata while he's out of the country for a couple years, and it does the thrumming with a window open worse than my Fit does. When it happened the first time in the Fit, I knew just what it was, not a big deal, just crack another window.

I first noticed this when we bought our first Suburban (rear window only). I actually kind of liked it, but no one else shared my fascination.

Have had the vibration sound in every car I've owned. Not a big deal to me as I don't ever drive with the window all the way down. I crack the front windows about 2-3" and the rear's about 1-2" Keeps the car relatively quiet and vents any hot air out quickly.

This is the first car I have ever been in that has this pressure pulsation thing...... The first time it happened was at 90 MPH and it was so intense it scared me...... Last February I had to wear a heart monitor for 24 hours because I have an irregular pulse and medication I was taking was causing my heart to miss numerous beats at a time.... The Holter monitor that was hooked up to me recorded an immediate increase in pulse rate when it went from 68 to 186 and as a result of rolling down my rear windows at 70 MPH..... I spent 6 days on a cardiac intensive care unit and was run through a battery of test and hooked up to a monitor for the whole time I was there.....The monitor had picked up the pulsations from lowering the windows.

My heart is fine except for an occasional misfire.... A doctor recently told me that my pulse rate and blood pressure, was that of a professional athlete.... I just won't be driving over 45 while wearing a heart monitor any more.... As to speeding.... It is a must do thing or you get crushed by some redneck bubba in their one ton turbo diesel flat bed dually truck.... Sometimes I can't help doing it for grins though.
