Sorry if I missed this, but I searched and couldn't find anything.
Are you guys getting funny wind reverberation when you have just the drivers window down? It feels like the wind is coming in at a strange angle and causing some kind of funny reverberation or pressure sensation that drives my eardrum crazy. At first I thought it was just the direction of the wind, but it happens from many different angles.
I'm pretty sure it is just the aerodynamics of the exterior and interior combined because I can open the passenger window and negate the funny pressure sensation.

Yeah, pretty common problem. My wife's car won't tolerate the sunroof all the way open or you get the same thrumming.
I've found that relative humidity seems to affect it, with it being worse in damp weather.

Doesn't this happen in every car? If you only have one window open, the air is entering and exiting through the same opening, so yeah you're going to get some pressure changes. It's kind of like pouring a beer with it completely inverted.
That happened to me and scared hell out of me. The first time it sounded like a big old flapping blow out tire noise,, except the car was driving great. The second time the AC was blowing hard too and that sounded like a wounded jet fighter inside my Fit!
Perfectly normal for today's tightly sealed vehicles. Open just one window and you've created a large short, fat Organ Pipe with a very low resonant frequency. Similar to blowing across the top of a beer bottle. but much lower in pitch.
i use a window visor (mugen) and crack the window open while driving my FitS... no issues.

I've not noticed it happening with our 2009 Fit. It does, however, occur with our 2002 Toyota Highlander. We just lower the front passenger window a bit and it stops.
First time it happened to me I thought I was having some kind of ear problems because they felt that they were going to burst. It is normal but it is really worse if you roll down the back windows and leave the fronts up!

Not a design flaw. means your car is properly sealed.
In a modern car, you're supposed to use the A/C and/or climate control system to keep cool anyway.
If you're thumping, chances are you're driving fast enough to lose as much efficiency to increased wind resistance as if you just used your A/C.
not fair, ofcourse a car going 0mph have no noise. you can't count cars that dont run. jk

Totally unscientifc experiment, but today's relative humidity was less than a cracker fart, and the wind thrumming was much less noticeable.
It has been my experience that it is always much worse in damp, heavy weather.

I know it's not a scientific experiment and all.....but what the hells a "cracker fart"??
First time it happened to me I was like WTF? Opened a second window and it went away. One time though as an experiment I had just the rear windows both down and it was doing it. Weird. I don't know about anyone else but this is the first car I've ever experienced this with.

Uhh, that's one of them 'analogy' things; a late hunting buddy described anything from relative humidity to humor as being 'dry as a cracker fart' when it was really, really dry. Yah gotta admit, it is a mind movie....
It appears, however, that the window thrumming thing is worse when it's 'damp as a beer fart'.

The Fit is the worst in one-window-reverb I've ever experienced. Roll down the left, rear window and I can feel my ear drums move. I like to do this with new passengers...and pretend like hell I don't notice anything...
