Will those work on a USDM Fit without any modication? (i.e. Plug-n-play)
They should be PnP (Plug n Play), my neighbor had these installed and he said all he need to do was pull on the harness to get more slack. I'm not sure if the ones on AJ-Racing are OEM or replicas. There was a member on this forum that were selling oem tail lights straight out of china. A quick search will help you find them.
they're not technically "plug n play". one of the sockets for the bulbs are different. yes, they bolt right up, but the reverse light or the blinker socket are a different size. if you exchange with someone over seas, just send the sockets with them. the top clear section houses your amber blinker bulb (or you can get the silverstars that are silver and light up amber) and the bottom clear section are your reverse lights. the only thing these don't have are the reflectors I THINK as far as legality goes. i've never been pulled over about it though.
but yeah.. i think i might have it sold. so i should be getting a fit this weekend.. iam crossing my fingers
EDIT: i just got off the phone. my car just sold.. dude is picking it up tomorrow.. so i guess i'll start going to the dealerships the next day after that..
lolz, he was talkin 'bout me but its cool to meet another mustang-fit owner! Well, i didn't sell the 'stang for the fit, couldn't bring myself to letting go of my 1st pony car
but yea, i have a couple sets left of the jdm base tails at my friends shop in paramount if any1's interested in picking them up, otherwise, i'm a lil too lazy to ship

ohh ouch, didn't realize you were active on the forums...
sorry...
nice mustang btw... but i guess its too late to make apologize now.
As long as the tails you purchase come with all sockets and bulbs attached, you are good to go.
Like someone else mentioned, the only difficult part of the install is procuring a little slack on the passenger side. In order to accomplish this, you need to take off and cut off some of the wire holder, and remove some electrical tape. There is also a clip that helps relieve pressure if removed. It took me about 30 minutes on the passenger side. Including time to rewrap the wire in new electrical tape, and 5 minutes on the drivers side (it doesn't need as much slack).
Hope this helps.
I got my tails from danny.pal.99. Great guy, came perfect and shipped all nice and cozy with tracking number.
