Ok i had my 09 fit lowed a few months ago, and as soon as i started her up the ABS light came on.... I asked to the shop were i got it done at and they said that someone over extended one of the wires for the ABS???? when they were working on it....
So they put in a new ABS sensor and said that it should go out.. but it didn't... i took it to a few places like tire discounters, and small tire shops but, no one can fix it or they tell me to take it to the dealership....
So my question for all of you is....has anyone had this same problem?? how do i fix this??? (and taking it to the dealership is not an option)...

Egghead, why is the dealer not a option? It is covered under warrenty.I know for a fact that it is.
As for a fix the speed sensor/abs sensor is easy to swap out. its pluged right behind the hub towards the top and held in by a 10mm bolt. From there it runs inside the car and if you flip the rear seats up and pull up the carpet in the center and theres a white clip where it clips in.
Now when they replaced the sensor did they replace both of them? Or just one? Its hard to tell if the sensors wires have been over streched as they have a rubber cover over it. So it is possible the if they replace one that its the other one thats bad. Also did the reset the battery after they changed the sensor?
I would park it at the shop that broke it and tell them to give it back to you fixed. They obviously screwed something up with a sensor, or the wiring for a sensor. The only other thing I can think of is the teeth for the sensor, but I don't know how you can screw those up with a simple suspension swap.

I think that it was just one that they replaced but, im not to shore...
I didn't even know are cars had 2 of them lol
and yes they did reset the battery as well they also hoked up some kind of computer under the dash that was spost to rest the sensor but, the computer was to old to pick up the sensor.....
also if i take it to the dealership they are clearly going to see that my car is lowered and try to say that the warranty is void because of the springs....
Ok if you can get ahold of a shop with a more current code scanner heres the codes it should give if that is inded still the problem."61-62, 15-13, 86-31" If you get that the sensor is still bad and in that case they didnt replace the broke one or they both broke during thier install.
And going by this paperwok the dealer would charge 74 + tax to replace them.
Idk what shop you went to But since they broke them either they better replace both of them or put the stock springs back on there so you can take it to the dealer to have them fixed under warrenty. Then if you care to use that shop again make the re-install the springs the proper way and when they do the rear the take off the senors first so they dont brake them the second time around.
Your welcome. Thats what my bill says but its still under warrenty, my right sensor just randomly died. Why, i wish i knew. If you decide to do it your self let me know i can walk you through it.
