How is Ford going to take a car that sells for $26 k in Europe, where it's made, and sell the same, equally equiped car here for $15 k plus a bit? If they do it great, but doesn't seem possible. I like ford for not caving in to the gov't wackos, and remaining independent, but their history of maintaning quality is not so hot. My Mustangs were a good example of that. A blast to drive with their potent V-8's, but quality lacking.

I have to say I total agree with Shockwave 199 with the 7-10 years of a Ford. I have a 2003 Windstar with 71k and it is falling apart. And not from a mainteince stand point, it is the Cheaper materials and limited life design that will keep me away from Mr. Ford's products.
Look around you in traffic H's everywhere even after they have been (modded out) they are still running. The big 3: 2 fat 2 long and if they don't get a long lasting product on the market there gone. How can a company build a car half way around the world deliver it to the U.S, then there's dealer mark up and it still beats the devil out of the american cars? Not only purchase price but up keep and gas milage too.
Do I want to buy Japanees? No, if this question would have come up 5 years ago "no way we only support the american auto industry". But I can't say that now; I will not spend our income on an inferior car. and that's sad.
2018 I wonder if I will still be in MizFit? I know MizWindstar will be razor blades
And if the Feista gets Honda to turbocharge the Fit up to about 210+ whp.............. I'm in.

After seeing one in person and being told it will probably offer turbo as option, I'm thinking this is more of a mini cooper killer.
