dealer ownage?

so I am planning to buy eibach pro-kit for my GE...my question is this:

since my car is still under warranty, and the pro-kit doesnt lower it THAT much...and the springs are black..do you think i can get away with it by going to the dealer and telling them to align my car under warranty?

how are the eibachs btw?

no i highly doubt it...and come on, the dealer's not there for you to play games.

they are there to play games on you. hahaha.

alignment is usually part of the wear and tear and unless they're really accomondating
they wont do it for free even if it had stock springs.

Hey kenchan, what do you think of the progress springs? they have lifetime warranty.. and the drop isnt as great as eibach pro-kit....i just want stiffness and handling...not so on loooks.

As kenchan says - the dealer isn't going to align your car for free even with factory springs!

At least you'll only need a front-end alignment...the torsion beam rear axle ensures that there's no camber change when lowering.

I paid around 40 bucks to get my cruiser aligned after we changed shocks, so it's not that expensive...

Dude, an alignment for the Fit can't cost more than $100. Suck it up.

See, this is why dealerships are always trying to get over on people, because of people like you trying to cheat them, lol. I'm pretty sure they will figure it out that you replaced the springs. They will probably tell you that they will check it under warranty, do the alignment, then come back and charge you for it, lol. I'm glad you mentioned that, I still need to have my alignment checked since I lowered my GE with the Prokit 6 months and 13,000 miles ago. Then again, I have had my tires off since with no abnormal wear and no abnormal steering or handling problems. I'll probably leave it alone, lol.
