View Poll Results: Are you pragmatic and well educated?
Just read an article in Yahoo! Autos. Honda drivers are pragmatic and well educated with 70% of us having a college degree or higher, and 97% of us are tech savvy.
Wow... I've owned 6 Hondas, Graduated from college 12 years ago, with a degree in Computer Science, and am now working in the I.T. Field at a top 5 Liberal Arts College...
yeah... I fit the mold.
And happy about it

PS... woohoo 100th post

This is the second Honda I've owned (previous car was a 91 Civic) I'm in the military and I work at a computer helpdesk. Haven't started college yet, but I am very tech savvy. I'm half way done with my A+ certification. Hope to start college sometime early next year.
Anyone on here is probably going to qualify as "tech savvy," there are still some people afeared o' the internet.
However, yes, I consider myself tech savvy, and I'm in the process of getting a doctoral degree, so I guess I fit the mold. I also wouldn't buy a car known for being unreliable, so I suppose I'm a pragmatist.
I have undergraduate degrees in mechanical technology and anthropology, and I am currently a tool and die designer for an aerospace contractor. I guess that makes me an educated ignoramus and moderately "tech savvy".
This is my first import car and first Honda. Previously I'd always bought the smallest, least expensive Dodge, in part because that was what the only dealer in town sold. I guess that makes me somewhat practical.

Graduated from VT in 2002 Business Information Technology. Took me a little while to find a Honda I liked, but I fit the mold now. (4 doors and a Hatch has always been my ideal car)
Good article. Now we have something to throw back into the faces of Chevy! I hate that new commericial that indicates the Colbalt gets better
gas milage than the Civic - they would not dare put the Fit in that place
cowards!

Cat :x
I hate those commercials because I find them highly untrue.
All of the Chevy's I've ever driven/been around (even new models) get WAY LESS than the epa advertised rates.
All of the Honda's I've owned (4)...have gotten WAY MORE than the epa advertised rates.
I don't care what Chevy says. It's not true, and I will NEVER own one.

Lets not forget that going to college doesn't necessarily make one "well educated".
Quite True... I went to a Pennsylvania State College at about 11K/year and got seriously shafted on my education. Everytime the first year business students call for their Telemarketing 101 course, I tell them; "Act Quick... Transfer now... get out while you Can" I learned all of my Tech Savyness from real world experience. Two Dot.Coms, a Day-Trading Frim (IT Analyst), My own Network/Computer Business, And now IT at a College... Got nothing out of my Computer Science Education. I did Find my wife there and for that, it was all worth it. Nothing else though...
