The key fob panic Halloween scare

I usually park my car in my driveway on the far side so there's plenty of walking room for the visiting tots on halloween. I'll be using the panic button for a new scare and I think it'll be a good one! LOL! I may put a prop in the car too. Why not make the best of it?!

Beep...BOO!

Watch the kids get scared and kick it or throw candy at it. Then you'll be sorry....

I think that's a really bad idea...

Personally, I think you should do as little as possible to draw attention to your parked car on Halloween, but do as you see fit.

The sales guy did that to me and my dad when we went to pick up my Fit. Scared the hell out of me and my dad, though my first thought was not to kick my new car, LOL!!

Thanks for your thoughts folks. I did think of that. I'll be out there to keep an eye on things- I usually hand out the treats in a wild mask and give 'em a scare at the door too. I was thinking of a quick beep with some distance in between, not when they're next to the car. And the car really isn't that close to them. Not looking to blast anybody really. I'll probably beep them as they're heading back down the driveway. Halloween has gotten so stale over the years, the locals look forward to my house for lots of creepy decor and some scares. Gotta put the fun back into it or you may as well just leave the treats unmanned by the door- totally lame. I give 'em a treat...and a trick, and they love it!

the automatic noise/lights of a car alarm or panic button going off really arn't scary.

fake dummy in the car is one thing, possibly a remote control strobe light is another... but using the panic button? eh.
