Rear fog light on Honda Jazz

I have a 09 Fit Sport that I want to take to Europe. One of the requirements to register the car there is that it has a rear fog light. My Fit does not, only front fog lights. I assume that the Jazz has a rear fog light. where is it located? and if it is in the rear light housing would I be able to just install the Jazz tail lights on my Fit. Thanks in advance for any help.

You can find an appropriate light to use at Autozone or something, and mount it just below your rear bumper. Or cut a hole yourself. It's a waste of money to try to put in a EDM one IMO.

Are you going to be moving to Europe on a permanent basis, or are you in the military ? Where in Europe are you gonna live?

I will be taking my Fit GD3 to Germany in a few months, and we will probably just add a lamp in the left rear taillight (that's where it usually is). You can do that or just get an ugly light and put it on your bumper like in DreaMv's post.
Or you can buy the European taillights. This is the safe, but more costly method.

If you have the time, you can try this mod: DIY - LED Tails w/ Rear Foglight on a GE8 Sport

Thanks for all the help, and photo. If I can get away with it I will just fasten the light to the rear bumper, I wouldn't trust myself to do any cutting, and to have it done properly would cost more than I would like to spend. I found a Piaa Led rear light that looks good. I will try and put a photo up so you can tell me what you think. I am not in the Military, but my Farther was, so I spent three years just outside Stuttgart as a child. My wife is from Slovakia, and we have been talking about moving back to Europe for awhile. My Mother is English, and retired to live in Spain , so after visiting a couple of times we like it there. Perfect climate, and great food. We will be living about an hour inland from Alicante The Fit is the perfect car, anything bigger, and you would never be able to find a place to Park.

You might want to edit your post to remove that link with your name in it.

The European Jazz has one rear foglight located in the rear light cluster on the driver's side.

These are the Euro lights. I have no idea if they're the same as US/JDM models but with a foglight. Don't be fooled by the British plates as this is a left-hand drive model so the foglight will be (somewhere) in the left light cluster:

I'd just do it the right way: DIY - LED Tails w/ Rear Foglight on a GE8 Sport

You could probably sell your current tail lights to recoup some of the cost, though it'll still cost more than just hooking up an external foglight.

OK I am going to do the taillight conversion that Zalthras suggested. I have searched the web but can't find the lights for sale. Anyone know where I can buy them please?

I would start by asking a local (where you're moving to) Honda dealer for a price. I don't think non-original Jazz-parts are as common here in Europe as they are in the US. Of course, if you can get the right part in the US it will probably be a lot cheaper - everything tends to be much more expensive here

I don't like the bumper-solution - it looks too much like an add-on

the one using the JDM LED's would be spendy though.
I think PIAA makes one that is slim and you could mount it under the bumper.

Piaa 19155

After searching the internet for three days, and numerous e-mails to the Far East. I have given up trying to find the replacement taillights with the fog light built in, and have ordered a PIAA rear fog light that is very slim, and can be fastened to the rear bumper. It was also a much cheaper option. I bought it from street side auto for $65.87 with free shipping. All I am looking to do here is have my car pass the SAV test in Europe, and PIAA say this light meets the European standards.
