yes. you can still break traffic laws under the speed limit. There's about a million of them. Reckless Driving is a violation and very easy to be charged with.

Just gotta love the Vtac! LOL! Yup, you can get ticketed for agressive driving and reckless if they felt you were a danger on the streets even if you were only going to speed limit.

Also you can get a ticket for exhibition of speed (i think that's what it is called), which is basically accelerating at a high rate.

If I ever get pulled over, I'll just whip out the owner's manual and pop the hood.

Exhibit A: SOHC 1.5 L VTAK BEAST

Exhibit B: Owner's manual section 12, article 4, paragraph 3:
"The operator of said vehicle cannot, under any circumstances, be held accountable for the consequences of VTAK engagement. The unbridled output of the 1.5 L is difficult to control even by the most experienced drivers. While technically a street legal vehicle, the i-VTAK Honda Fit can cause serious bodily harm not limited to retinal hemorrhages, liver laceration, and at an engine speed of 88 mph....occasionally time travel. A police escort may be necessary."

@ Cab and Bubbles....RELAX. This is all hypothetical. Any similarities to actual events is purely circumstantial.

well, when someone asks a question, it usually gets answered. sarcasm does not translate to textual speech.

well, if you already knew the answer to your question, you shouldnt have made a thread. things like this dont require their own threads. you should post it on the post whore thread because people click on this thread looking to help someone out through their own experience and then they see they wasted their time, then next time you post a thread where you actually need some technical advice, people wont click on your thread because they will assume its a thread like this.

The sad part is many don't read it as a joke thread. There's a number of individuals who will end up with a FIT as the 1st car and know nothing about actual rules and regulations behind owning a driver's license. (It's almost as easy to get a driver's license as it is to get on Maurey with No income other than welfare and 5 possible Baby-Daddy). Those who are "wet behind the ears" will take more than half of what they read as gospel truth.

Useless Posts should be in OT or in that lame useless thread... the offiicial crap junk thread (or whatever it's called) which really doesn't belong here either.

Officially it is not our responsibility to teach others the rules and regulations because they should know it on their own because they have a license. In reality land, it does take a town to raise a child.

I saw a question being asked, and answered. Is this a repository or a forum?

I don't hate you, but that nut vine is about to break with you hanging on it so much.

If you don't take that as a joke, all is lost in this forum, it seems to be out there as it is when Makita says he was joking and yet people still are serious about it. WTF is wrong with society? Rhetorical question, so please don't answer.
