Honda Extended Auto Warranty
No I would call National Repair Solutions | Extended Vehicle Service Contracts seemed legit. Called other companies, they had the same coverage, just cheaper. Hope that help!

I didn't buy the warranty on my new '13 base. Before being converted to Honda I had 21 new Toyotas. I always bought a warranty to coincide with the length of payments.
I wasn't aware that you could get a refund for the unused portion of the warranty for many of those years.
Out of 21 years there was only one claim for a defective engine on a '90 Tercel EZ, but they paid for all but $50.
I say no extended warranty unless it's a Chrysler and maybe you should spend that money on a shrink learning about making better choices.
You don't buy a Chrysler-somebody puts one on you.

any extended warranty may cover A/C components, but as stated in the other thread, you're fully covered by your factory warranty (3 years 60K KM) for A/C components.
You may have the option of purchasing an extended Honda Plus warranty while still under the factory warranty. But these typically are not cost effective given the reliability of the car.
There are big differences between offers here in the states and Canada. Check with your dealer. Also these extended warranties are negotiable (at least here in the states): you don't have to pay the full price.

Ever wonder why dealers push these extended service warranty plans so vigorously?
It's because they are big money makers...more important than ever with customers checking Edmunds for dealer invoice pricing before negotiating. Think of it as a much more expensive and profitable alternative to the classic "protective paint coating" and "undercoating."
When I bought my 2012 base AT Fit I went in with Edmunds' invoice price in my pocket. Dealer said he'd sell it for factory invoice, and his number matched Edmunds. (They get other incentives that help their profit.) But when I went into the finance guy, they had tacked on the extended coverage without even mentioning it. And when I said reprint the paperwork without it the guy started a full court press that I needed it. It was only when I stood up and told my wife we would go to another Honda dealer that the guy finally shut up and made the deal without it.

Here's some food for thought:
Lottery expected return is around negative 50%. But if you win you can get rich, and if you lose, it's only a buck or two.
Homeowner's insurance return is negative a few percent, but if you don't have it and your house burns down, you're without a house. Low chance, big loss.
Casino expected return is negative a few percent (for each bet) but some people find it the cost of entertainment.
Extended warranty return is negative a LOT and your maximum risk, with low likelihood, is only the cost of a new car.
