I'd be interested in your current shift knob if you could send it to TX.

Car looks great man, I also plan on autocrossing mine as well, and tips on gotta have upgrades? Also what class do you run in?

I love your car,and awesome taste in mods. I must say, you should definetly look into a bucket seat/ low bracket ASAP...total transformation for driving enjoyment of this car.

Not selling the shift knob.

I run in STF class in autox. As for upgrades you really don't need anything. I'd start with tires if you really want to buy something though. A tip that I ignored, but know the value of, is that seat time will be your best upgrade.

I am a big fan of your car, what you have done so far is what I would like to do.

Can you tell mw about the koni setup you have and the rpf1s you have. It is between rpf1s, kosei k1s and 949 6uls. I am starting to look at suspension upgrades but have not been able to pinpoint what coilover setup would be best. I like the height you are set at with the wheels. Any info would be great. Did I read that you put a different driver seat in or did you say seat time behind the wheel driving?

I did a review of the coilovers in another thread.
Redshift Koni/GC review

I use the rpf1's for daily driving and I use the 6UL's for autox. The 6UL's with a 225/45/15 tire are awesome except when it comes to courses with straights that are a bit too long. I've been on the rev limiter a lot with them in a few different courses. I believe 2nd gear tops out at about 52mph which is just the tiniest bit too low.

I've been wanting to put a new drivers seat in ever since I saw DoYouFit?'s recaros. But that will have to wait. As for seat time behind the wheel, thats the best thing you can do to improve your times. You could just autox with the car in stock form. That would probably help you out in deciding which direction you want to go as far as modifications.

Alright so question for the OP, I am wanting to know your thoughts on how the fit would handle if I chose this path to begin with. I am learning the limits of the stock fit and wonder how it would feel if I added the rsb, and 2 or 3 o the underbody braces and leave the stock struts and springs.

i honestly couldn't tell you how it would feel since the coilovers and rsb were installed the same day. you will most likely not be disappointed if you add just the rsb. im sure other members can confirm that.

Hows offset on those rpf1's in the front with those tires? Do they stick out past the fenders at all?

I'm not totally sure but the s.drives run pretty wide. I'll try to snap some pics later. If they do stick out its gotta be like millimeters. And since I'm running negative camber it's really only at the bottom.
