Purchased '13 base FIT w/ 5 speed auto for $15,574
It's Silver . Now have 2 FITS , a '11 base automatic as well . $17,015 - $750 ( FLEX - rebate ) = $16,265 - $300 ( Dealer Discount ) = $15,965 . Also got floor mats ( $101 ) , mudguards ( $124 installed ) and a Cargo Cover ( $166 ) for free . That's an additional saving of $391 , therefore $15,574 before taxes , fees , etc.. The '13 is quieter than the '11 . Especially engine noise . It also has engine immobilizer with security system . The display is 38.1 m.p.g. overall for 146.3 miles and little under 3/4 of a tank . Like this one a bit better than the '11 .

Go to here for pics , First tank = 402 mi = 50 MPG - MirageForum.com , pictures on page 1+2 . It's in the Mitsubishi MIRAGE forum because we had thoughts of purchasing one and are comparing F.E.. Decided on the FIT because of the price at $15,574 , hard to pass on . The MIRAGE forum is a nice site as well . Some are getting very good gas mileage

Thanks for posting the link to the pics and write-up.
Nice deal and color on the '13.
His and Her Fits. PRICELESS!!!!!!!!!
Its what I wanna do but just can't pull my wife away from her SUV ('11 RX350 - best was 24.5 MPG hwy). At least I beat the EPA rating.

Thanks . Maybe you could get her into the new Hybrid Fit C.U.V. with the all wheel drive :- ) . Do you plan to buy the '15 ? We're hoping they'll bring the FIT ( City ) sedan in a year or so . Will likely jump on that . Then have to decide which one to trade in . Might have to remove a FIT hub cap and flip it like a coin . Here's the '11 FIT entered at FUELLY.com , Blue (Honda Fit) | Fuelly . You'd think the '15 with the C.V.T. could surpass the 2nd generation F.E.. with ease . Last , I think we got a very nice deal . Less is never enough .

The start of this tank for the '11 is 39.2 . Had a hard time getting it to this point thanks to non stop winds of 20+ , one steep hill to climb , 2 people and about 50 pounds of groceries ( cooler included ) . Go to here for more pics , First tank = 402 mi = 50 MPG - Page 2 - MirageForum.com , that's if curious .

As for the City, like the looks. Bet that will achieve even better MPG.
After test driving the '14 Civic, the CVT did not impress me. That's why, from the GD A/T am getting the GK 6-speed instead. Am sure though, it will satisfy the ,majority of buyers. MPG on that tranny, with you behind the wheel - that result we shall be looking forward too!!!!

Previously posted your "stellar" achievement, but that was thinking you were "solo" on that ride. Now, with the detailed load exposed - that's astounding!!! Keep up that great driving.

We also test drove a '14 Civic LX with the C.V.T.. We liked the C.V.T.. Road vey well and the interior was solid . No rattles and the streets were quite rough from the winter . We got 32.4 m.p.g. when arrived back . It was mostly city driving . Passed , didn't want a higher payment .
