Materials needed:
- Flat head screwdriver
- 12mm Socket & Ratchet.
- 09 Accord's Horn (Part #38100-STK-A02)
- 15 Minutes.

First remove these 8 Clips using a flathead screw driver to get access to the stock horn.

Once you remove the panel, you have to remove these 2 clips in order to get to the 12mm bolt that's holding the horn.

Then remove the 12mm bolt

09 Accord's Horn vs. Stock 09 Fit

Put everything back together & voila, easiest upgrade ever.

thanks to your hands on instructions, I was able to change my horn out in 15 min this afternoon. I actially took my wireless netbook out to the garage to consult your pictures as I went along to make sure I didn't miss anything

Got that great accord horn going now in my GE8, sounds great ! My question is, why the hell did Honda change it between the 08 and 09 ?I was so surprised when I got my GD3 last year at what I get for a horn, it was nice ! Then I get an 09 which I expect to be even better than the previous year and I find the "meep meep" horn installed. Could it have saved Honda that much to switch horns ?

I hate to tell you, but that horn appears to be the same horn that came in the GD3's. You've possibly downgraded...

although on comparison it does look like a "downgrade" b/c it came on the GD3s, it's not. It appears that Honda switched over the horns after 2008 b/c that new fit's horn is the same as the the 2006 civics had.

My horn was louder than the newer fits I had parked next to, hell it was louder than my civic. B/c that was so aggravating, I just switched them. Now the civic sounds like a real car....but I need a new Beep! Beep!

Although I could be wrong....

I brought my oem horn back home from my brothers house today. Comparing it to that picture they're the same part. If anyone wants this one let me know.

I really want to do this upgrade on both the regular horn and the keyless entry lock horn. Anyone care to do a DIY on the keyless entry lock horn?!

Is it a separate horn?

I actually wanted to get OEM accord horn to install... But in the end I got hold of Stebel Magnum 2 instead... Cheaper and a lot louder... LoL... I installed mine with a relay... But I think installing without a relay is not a problem too...

Why want to replace the keyless entry one? I only hit my fob once and not twice to avoid the meep. Any how there is a lot of room around the second horn so should be easy to put an Accord in there same as the first one. or you could use the Accors high tone maybe?

It is not on microfiche but behind the left headlight. It is about the same size as the big meep meep.
