Still happy as a clam..

After 6 months of using this Auto Climate Control, I have to say that has made me very happy, and worth the trouble. I don;t have to deal with foggy wind shield or putting down because is too cold or higher because is too hot... or turning the AC on or off... I has made my ride so much worry-less...

I have just made a Self Diagnostic Test and a Sensor Input Display register:

What would D value will be for?

My best friend who's an Acura tech has always done my mods will do this but I have a question for North American owners. Why not use the Fit EV parts. Damn I just answered my own question. The EV dash isn't black.

Hi Connor55, Camivill,

i'm from Malaysia, after read the great guideline from Connor55, just worried that whether need to cut any existing harness? My car still under warranty, it will void if cut any existing harness or modify existing harness.

I having a set of JDM GE8 2012 RS Dashboard completed full harness with all sensors & blower, is that can be direct use existing sub harness to connect RS Dashboard harness?

.. no cut

well you dont really have to cut it...
as Connor explained you can keep all the original connectors and all, so u "can go back" anytime...

The reason why Connor took the non existing parts from the Harness, so you can make some sort of link, between the connections not existing and make a "bridge" between the parts added to the system...

If you are afraid for guarantee, you perhaps can ask your dealer about if any wiring change will revoke or wait until your car passes the Guarantee...

Thanks Bro Camivill's reply, i will try to use the harness of JDM RS Dashboard(non-existing harness) for conversion. Is there whether can work by install full JDM dashboard harness(non-existing harness) to replace my existing dashboard harness?

Also have a important question on A/C ECU, is the A/C ECU of Digital Auto Climate Control same with my existing A/C ECU of Mechanical Climate Control? As i never saw this ECU part from Connor Guideline.

ECU - Harness

ECU(Electronic Control Unit)电子控制单元,又称“行车电脑”、“车载电脑”等。 Conclusion is the same ECU you have in the car now...

The Harness is long, big, full of connections and the harness goes in spiral, going intertwined the structures of the dashboard, which will means to disassemble the whole dashboard so you are able to change it.... Honestly i thought about it, but at the end is easier just to do as Connor did....

Yes, there's no way in hell I was gunna replace the whole harness. It's not bad to just tap in those 10 or so wires.

After nearly 2 years everything is still working fine and no problems whatsoever. I actually forgot that this was a mod after a while lol.

Thanks Connor.
@camivill do you have a link or website to order GE8 parts from China? MostCanadian GE8s we’re made in China.
