Question I have audio questions I rarely need but online answers have stumped me even more.

Ok I hope you guys knowledgeable in car amps/set-ups can school/explain a feature on a JL amp that I never saw before and if I should even use at all.

Ok here is my set-up i just finished my pre-install. If pix come out to big i apologize.

Now here is my question on a feature on the Alpine app that ive never seen and what to even do with it. Thanks to my fit brothers/sister in advance.

Heres my question. What is slope (Slope 12db/24db) for and when would/should I use it and which slope would u recommend for me set-up?

The filter slope is how sharply the high pass/low pass filter cuts off. I believe you'd probably use the high pass mode, setting the frequency for your subwoofer/main driver crossover point. The 24 dB/octave cuts off more sharply than the 12 dB/octave setting.

If you're using some other crossover for the subwoofer, you presumably don't need the filter at all and so the slope is immaterial.

Thank u. yes most ive read did 12. My sub amp has no slope control. so dont use the slope at all?
