Sorry if I missed it, but what size tires/rims? Thanks.
Thanks guys, I took a lot of time considering whether I should get these wheels or not. I wanted a decent brand at a good price that wasn't too heavy. I also wanted something different, but not ricey. When I first saw them, they looked good but I almost thought they looked too ghetto and blingy, so they had to grow on me too, lol.
Specs:
17" Enkei T-Forks in gunmetal gray
+45 offset
19.15 lbs each
Works with TPMS
Tires are Hankook Ventus V2 Concepts at 205/40R17 (500 tread life and good in snow, too )
These wheels were a perfect match for the semi-aggressive amount that I was going to drop it.
To be totally honest, i really really dislike these kind of wheels. Kind of chrome bits and stuff, more of a show wheel than anything.
BUT, for some reason. I REALLY like your car and your wheels. You pull it off well (might also have something to do with us having the same tail lights on an SSM). +rep
Looks super clean and I am lovin' the wheel/tire/drop combo as it's definitely not something you see a lot.
After checking out some of your pics I almost want to go yank the OEM body side moldings off my GE now...no telling how many more door dings I would have though w/out those on.
Also...I keep seeing more and more of those LED Depo tails on here and might just have to pull the trigger on a set...they look especially great on an SSM!
I do like the body moldings but they kind of break up the clean lines of the GE. Surprisingly, I have no door dings yet, but I also tend to park away from other cars. I've gotten a few comments off-forum about how I had fake LED taillights, but I do what I like and I think it looks good, it's not like I'm trying to get into a magazine or anything. I think they look really great on SSM.
only thing i don't understand is; why does your friend keep his front plates on his RSX if you arn't required to have them in your state. assumeing so, because you don't have them.
Are your tires directional? If so, I think you might wanna check your tire orientation as it looks like from the pic that your left rear tire is turning the wrong way.
i need this set of springs! assuming it is just springs and not coil overs?? , i am currently using my 2007 fit sprint springs on my 2010, and its not low enough for me!!!
i thought you had 18" wheels but thats probably because your choice of wheel has a hidden lip (painted black) i am also running 17" wheels but am using a 215 45 tire with a bit of rubbing in front, i will get into a set of 205 45's when these are wore out (soon i bought them used to check fitment)
anyway i like your decal on the back, and am thinking of designing a similar one, keep up the work its turning out great!

EvoFit - Yes, Texas does require front plates, but I hate the way it looks so it's off. So far I haven't been pulled over for it. My friend HAS to have his though because his dad is a cop.
onemiglandicho - I also noticed that after I took that picture and laughed at myself for not putting it on correctly, smh. I can lower a car, but I can't face my tires in the right direction.
vtecfit1 - Yes, I am on RSR Ti2000 Super Down springs. I believe they are the lowest drop on springs for the GE8 currently (2.0" F, 1.8" R). I'm only on these because I got a good deal from a member here, they are way too expensive new. Coilovers are definitely the way to go as it will save you the hassle of replacing shocks later on. My wheels don't have a black lip, I think the impression of being on 18s comes from the spokes reaching all the way to the lip of the wheel. I'm on 205/40s with no rubbing but the ride is a bit bumpier.
