They have no idea what they are talking about, I have fun in this car and I am glad I finally bought one.

You know how expensive it is to mod the Z, this car is wayyyyy more affordable

Any plans for yours?

Little update:

Added the OEM rear bumper garnish and Gorilla wheel locks

This is pretty much how she will look going forward, I don't really want to do anything else to her exterior-wise but I did order a
new Zeta armrest that I have yet to install

Thanks dude! I really like the way the car came together and am starting to enjoy driving it everywhere

I also added the Zeta arm rest and that made the car way more comfortable to drive, I will snap some pics and have a review in the next few days.

Sharkfin is pretty cool, I would rather just have the regular antenna since I use the car cover and the antenna helps to keep the top of the cover in place. I have seen them on other cars and it looks cool so you should do it and let me know how it goes!

Little update, I'm almost 5 months in and really loving my GE. I have learned to be more efficient and have been able to get 33mpg overall in mixed driving and nearly 40mpg on the freeway.

Also, during the last few months I was lucky enough to get the Panda featured twice on the Tanabe Facebook page.

First time to promote my DF210 springs

Thanks Rick but you of all people shouldn't be jealous considering all of the cool cars you have I do really like that I can just drive my Z for pleasure now and drive this pretty much everywhere, like you said it's definitely the best of both worlds.

I never submitted the photos but they probably just grabbed them from one of my threads on the Z forums.

Did you ever make a build thread for your GE? If not, I think it would be great for everyone and I personally would like to see one!

Just passed six months of ownership a few days ago and could not be happier with this car.

After holding our first monthly meet and seeing several different taillight setups I decided to pull the trigger on a set of Depo Clear LED RS Taillights and I spent some time installing them yesterday

OEM (top) vs LED's (bottom)

Rear comparison, just like the stock plugs and linings so no modification was needed on my part

Removed the OEM light and masked off the area so I wouldn't accidentally scuff the area

Closeup of the panel, I actually ended up losing one of the bolts down this section but was able to Jerry-rig a magnet on the end of a screwdriver to get it out

Then my neighbor stopped by with his Pomeranian Winston

Finally got both installed and I drove a few blocks and took some shots

Thanks Rick!

I totally agree and considering that I paid $600 for my LED's for my Z back in 2007 I had no problem paying less than a third of that for these for the Fit

Yikes! Don't remind me, I had the 06 LED on my Z and then dished out more for the JDM ones. So much money went to that car lol! Good times.

Worst part is that I actually broke one on the Z and had to get a replacement. That means I dropped close to $900 on taillights lol

Just noticed you haven't done the wiper mod. I was hesitant at first, but hated all the build up it would catch when the car got dirty so I finally did it and no more build up. Looks pretty cool too IMHO.

Thanks Patrick, I do try to keep a balance with my cars so that they are functional and subtle

Oh good one, my only issue would be I don't want to be able to see it in the window if I'm looking out the back

I will look into it, I do agree that the way it currently sits it catches more dirt

Yeah I guess since I used to drive rigs you get used to only using mirrors because all you see is the trailer behind you lol!
