I vaguely remember reading a member using the Centric e-coating rotors. Was that you? Upon looking them up, they're just blank correct? How do you like them with your Hawk pads? I was thinking of sth similar just with slotted brembos.

Congrats!

Great decision with buying a used car, especially a GE since they have been shown to be very reliable. I bought this CPO and fixed the little items that the previous owner caused and saved myself alot of money.

I had a real problem with rust issues on my OEM rotors and these Centrics took care of that. I do have the blanks but should have bought the slotteds since they look better. I would not bother with Brembos unless you want the brand name but you won't see a difference vs the Centrics.

Hawks are a good upgrade and have better bite and predictability than OEM's but they are a tad more dusty than OEM's.

Swapped out my Tanabe exhaust today for the Mugen exhaust

Mugen exhaust upclose while on the lift

Further away, definitely much smaller than the Tanabe

Closeup, pea shooter!

Tanabe sounds better from the short drive I had, this is much quieter which I expected.

I will be removing the resonator which should help liven things up

It's ok though, I prefer to louden a quiet setup vs trying to quiet down a loud setup.

The Mugen exhaust clearly says "Sports Silencer" so it's somewhat true to name lol!

Went to a local shop and had the resonator removed with my Mugen, I am very happy with the final results!

Will have a video soon

no sound clip yet.
one question, that's how loud the tanabe is that you would remove resonator and add mugen exhaust.

I have one clip to share of a rolling start, will get one with just a startup soon.

The Mugen without the resonator removed sounds nearly identical to OEM, I needed more volume.

Thanks, I actually like it better than the Tanabe without the resonator.

I did not want something too excessive and this is perfect.

Only the Koni yellows are adjustable, these are better suited for aftermarket springs which should be all I need.

I will need to hear your exhaust next month!

Oh, duh. Yea I forgot.

And for sure! It has a little more pop than yours though. But I think it's quieter because of the smaller diameter tip I replaced the original with to fit the Mugen. My friend also did a res-delete and his is the HKS-- sounds louder and it pops so much more especially after shifts(I'm glad it's not my setup haha).
