Picked her out a month ago, figured I'd go ahead and set up a chronicle thread. Right now the only differences from this photo are the front grille mod and 45% tinting, but I'll be fixing some stuff up next week.
I'm not a huge car guy or modder, but I'd like to see what I can do to make her stand out, without being that guy. You know the one, with 10 degree negative camber, 10" wheels, and a spoiler that doubles as a convenient carrying handle if you were to come across a giant.
On deck, JDM tails, black billet grill (to replace the ziptie grill insert), Asteroid Smart, retrofit audio/navi controls, sharkfin antenna, window visors, LED replacements, and then we'll see where we go from there.

Finished the retrofitting last week, finally got the wheel straightened again this morning.
I also swapped in LEDs for the map lights. I had a set of LEDs for the dome light, the trunk, and the license plate, but I left them at work I think, so next time.
And lastly...
Can't wait to start playing with this, but I *have* to wait for the screen protector to come in (can already see fingerprints on the bloody thing!).

Got out early from work today, so got a bit of stuff done with/to the car.
First off...
Mugen pedals, and the OEM leather shift knob. I like the blue stitching on it, goes better with Kimiko than red.
OEM visors. I liked the look of these better than the Mugen, and they're like 1/4 of the price.
And for a little visual flair...
...shoshinsha mark...and...
Unfortunately the FF frame only has top bolts, which is kinda lame for a hatch, so it rattles every time you close the door. So, I put it up front after removing all the dealer junk.

Planning to put on the tails today and depending on the weather, I might be able to get the billet grill done.
I'm really disappointed that there's no steering wheel carbon fiber available for the Nav units. I bought one off Amazon that was for a Civic wheel before discovering that it wouldn't fit because of the spacer on the right side of the wheel, so I threw it away stupidly. Now I realize I should've just bought a *third* set of garnish pieces for the wheel to get rid of the spacer entirely and use the Civic left-side-only pieces.
Since I've wasted $100 there, I'm not sure if I want to buy *another* one and then an additional $60 or so in parts to make it all work.

Tiny update but I got my (replacement) LEDs for the dome light and the cargo light, so I put those in yesterday. I'm debating if I want to get an LED strip and do the under-the-cargo-cover modification and tap into the cargo light.
Also ordered the Zeta bumper cover.
Tomorrow I go to the dealership and try to convince them to replace the passenger foglight. Regardless of the outcome, I'll have that replaced, and then I'll put on the film covers for those.

Huh? I didn't order a bumper or foglights. I got a bumper protector, this thing:
Rear Bumper Protector for 2007 2013 Honda Fit
