GE8 Turbo Exhaust & Intercooler Piping Kit

I have a 09 Nav & 10 Fit Sport, to say the least they are gas sippers compared to my previous cars. Doing a brief overview of this community has yielded a desire for a cost effective Turbo application for the USDM Fit. To say 117hp is enough for the Fit depends on the person, my lawnmower has more power... lol...(J/K)...my yamaha waverunner had more than twice the power out of 1.3L (serious). I'm not looking for a race car (I have one already) just an additional 50-75 whp & limiting the additional items to under 100lbs.
I would consider making a jig & fabricate the parts for the exhaust adaptor, down pipe, egr pipe & intercooler piping after I get mine fabricated, as a kit, Individuals would get their own turbo & electronics. I only use SS for all exhaust components & aluminum of intercooler piping.
To introduce my self my name is Patrick, I've modded & fabbed since high school, street raced when cars were so slow you could have tea during the race, (90% of all racers started on the streets, I dont do it anymore) & I have a Celica Alltrac that did 210mph in the standing mile (i fabricated all the components), I also did the fab work for Lances IS250 2JZGTE (check out my.is) & I've build a few race headers for some NA B16 273 whp. If you're curious do a alltrac101 search
Comments/suggestions welcomed
Regards
Patrick

Welcome aboard Patrick. I'm not one of the FI minded individuals (love mekatune), but there are plenty that would really like something fabricated for the GE. Please do follow through with this, because there have been a handful of individuals that have talked about coming out with something and they just casually fade away.

If you and DSM get together, I'm sure the two of you could initiate a nice bolt-on piecemeal kit for those individuals that are serious about adding some induction of the forced variety to their Fit.

I've gone as far as trying to get a shop linked up with members on here to develop something, so consider me a big supporter of this project. There's been a lot of talk, but someone has to just go ahead and bring something to market at this point and try to sell it. The speculation threads won't get far, because people just want the option to buy something, not have it developed. Best of luck!

Happy 4th Guys
I got a minute, so I thought we could start a list, feel free to add or comment.
I'm leaning towards a t25BB Garrett Turbo
tube & fin interfooler, lol
2" tubing (alloy)
AEM FIC (just need the pin outs)
Injectors?
Fuel pump?
Exhaust?
Wideband, I guesss AEM

I will obviously start with the exhaust adaptor, I'm making mine out of SS, then we can do a couple things after: (1). make the kit ones like mine by hand, small run or (2). send mine out to be cast, most likely require a larger quantity run. Down pipe the same thing.

Bumping old thread. Did this ever go anywhere?

I don't really like the power curve of the Sprintex S/C, I like peaky power like in the old EM1, it makes the car feel faster. I need a turbo kit for my GE8 or else I might be swapping something stupid like the K20 from the EP3 (motors are cheap)
