Official GE Lowering Spring Specs Thread
#22
I just installed a set of Godspeed Traction-S springs. They are advertised as:
Average Lowering: Front: 1.0" Rear: 1.2
Spring Rate(kg/mm): Front: 2.65 | Rear: 2.5
I like them better than Swifts, so far. Almost OEM like ride quality with a little more road feel. The car rides flatter than with Swifts and the rear end has better control over bumps. The front doesn't scrape over everything, either.
The front springs are straight rate and the rear springs are progressive.

Those Godspeeds look like a great choice. I’m still up in the air on whether I want to do springs or not but after replacing the steelies with 15x7’s the rake is much more obvious. I honestly wish you could get just a rear spring to make it sit level

The back end settled after a couple days of driving and it’s hard to tell but it might be a little lower than the front now. I need to measure it on a level surface bc my driveway is pretty steep. Looking more for handling than stance but it would constantly bother me if it sat uneven. I’m planning on a progress rsb first so I’ll see how it is after that
