Definitely interested in their stuff. If it's equal to or less than Buddy Club i'm on board. Thanks for posting and hopefully De36 will hear back from Hardrace soon.

I got an email from Hardrace.

They offer control arms with hardened inner bushing (6894). And optional extended ball joints, control arms and hardened inner bushings installed (6895) so the just bolt on.

Or you can save yourself some $$ and buy the bushings (6808) and joints (6881) separate reusing your control arms.

They offer a 25mm shorter sway bar end links (6891), which is probably my next suspension mod.

A US sales person was suppose to contact me to talk price but I never heard from them.

Look one post above yours.

I got a hold of the main supplier but he would talk prices, just product. He said a US sales rep was going to contact me. I will try the US sales rep again.

Hi, i'm looking to buy the buddyclub roll center adjuster but i have a question for you guys:

I'm running on a set of Enkei RPF 1's with 1950/50R15 tyres and i was wondering if the kit will fit without rubbing on the tyres or wheels?

What do guys think?

Thanks a lot, that would really help me.

Does those roll center adjusters stand the test time?
And do you know a company that make polyurethane bushings for the GE?

I don't know know how long a unit measured "test of time" is, but they are made by Buddy Club Japan, Its quality stuff. Having the OEM and BC joints in my hand at the same time, Im confidant in saying that BC are much higher quality than the OEM.

As for the poly bushings, I don't recommend it for a street car. I had ALL poly in my SpecV and I was way to harsh of a ride. In the WRX I went with hardened rubber bushings and it was the best of both worlds.

For control are bushings:

Ah thank you for the information. Its recomforting to know that the Buddy Club roll adjusters is a quality product.

Well, i'm not using daily driving the GE that much now, so i'm still hesitating between poly bushings or hardened rubber ones. Nonetheless i really appreciate the info!

For now, i'm just waiting for your confirmation about the fitment of the buddyclub's on 15 inch wheels and i'm going to get them.

I wonder if anyone has done this ball joint they had replaced the lower control arm with the "Insights" LCA I saw somewhere someone did this to reduce weight in their Fit?

BMW Alpina did it for clearance:

https://www.fitfreak.net/forums/2nd-...ersion-13.html

The idea here is to lessen un-sprung weight. Using that money and put it into lighter wheels and tires to lessen un-sprung weight, you would yield bigger handling gains.

Also aluminum is more flexible than steel, so steel wins in stiffness. And you can't replace the ball joints on aluminum arms, so you will not be able to install the extended ball joints, steel wins again.

J's racing even uses steel arms. The Insight is a grocery get-er, how stiff could the control arm bushings be? It's rhetorical.

With steel you can have extended BJs, hardened bushings and stiffer control arms. OR aluminum you can save 8 lbs of un-sprung weight. It's obvious which set up would handle better on the track.

Note: I am not belittling un-sprung weight, it is very important important when it comes to handling.

Thanks, I agree on the wheels and tires that is the next step for me. Still thinking about the Sprintex supercharger in the spring.

I just finished emailing Sprintex last week. They just finished a batch of 12 that are already sold. They told me to check back at the 1st of the year.

I emailed them Dec 11, 2 days earlier.......

Hi, Doug.

Our Honda kit is becoming available, now. It produces 5psi of boost and makes about 180hp at the crank. We’ve got a cleaned up tune that is running well on 91 octane gas. No dyno report on it yet, though.

Retail price is $2,995 with the SMT8L PerfectPower tuner included.

These first 12 are spoken for. Contact us again after the first of the year and the second batch should be on the way.

Kind Regards,

Gary Turner

Interesting.... Honestly I can be a bit obnoxious, I'm quite inquisitive, esp on expensive purchases. He didn't even answer all my questions.

Before the RCA install, was there still a net gain in roll resistance with stiffer springs?
