wheels and tires question
#2
I'm not trying to be sarcastic, buy if you're going to spend the $$$ for custom rims, why on earth would you mount stock tires on them? 205/50-16 tires are an almost exact match for the OEM tire circumference; every other size is off by several percent.

He don't want to spend extra money on tires, I'm guessing that the thread on his stock tires are still good.

Tires will wear out eventually. Just wait till they were out and get a good deal on a wheel/tire package. 16x7 is a good average size for most 16" tires. Get 205/50/16's.

So, I just bought a new 2010 Fit Sport AT, and was wanting to do the same, new rims, stock tires. My dealer has a service agreement/warranty that provides for free tires as long as you have them service your vehicle. If I could get a new set of rims, have them put them on so that the tires are still covered, I'd be pretty ok with that. So, question is: Will the stock 185 / 55 R16 83H fit on a 16x7" rim?
