2010 Fit Sport Wheels/Tires
Hi Guys. New to the forum - I've been trolling for a few days gathering info and looking for wheel/tire combos. I'm looking for suggestions for my wife's 2010 fit sport. We got a set of blizzaks mounted on the stock rims for winter and we're looking for something for the rest of the year. The car is bone stock - no mods yet. At this point, just looking for wheels/tires.
Been looking at and like the Enkei EDR9 16x7 +45 and RPF1 16x7 +43. Tire rack suggests 205-50-16 for both. Would either offset pose rubbing risks at current ride height? Does that sound like the right tire size?
As far as tires...I put a set of yokohama sdrives on my miata (sold last year) that I was happy with - but she probably doesn't need ultra high performance summer tires. I've seen lots of love for the Conti DWS. Other suggestions?
Thanks!

Thanks for the reply Blackbeard. I checked out that thread while looking around the forums the past few days.
I've already got the snows mounted on the stock riims and they performed great this winter. The all seasons that came off when the blizzaks went on were cooked. So I'm really just looking for a second set of rims on which I can mount new summer tires I gotta buy anyway. This way I can do the wheel swaps myselft rather than having tires swapped on/off the stock rims 2x a year.
Honestly I don't have anything against tehe stock rims - I'd buy a second set if they weren't so expensive or if I could find some used locally. I thought I'd found a good stand-in in the Enkei EDR9. They cost 10 bucks less than these: 2010 Honda Fit Wheel Rim 16" Factory Original OEM Stock Wheels which are refurb and I wouldnt have to pay shipping ordering the EDR9 through a local shop.
Are there reason(s) that the EDR9 wouldn't work with a set of 205-50-16 tires?

You won't have rubbing issues with either wheel type/size. I have rpf1's 17x7+43 205/40/17 and have no rubbing, and I'm pretty significantly lowered.
I am partial to the rpf1's, but in all honesty, if you ever have to sell them, they'll have the best resale value. I would stick with tirerack's recommendation; that'll probably put you at the most accurate odometer reading.
Hope this helps.

I have RPF1 16x7 +43 with Conti DWS 205/50/16.
The do rub, but only on a specific condition... hitting a bump WHILE doing a hard turn. However, I have Swift springs, so that may matter.
Now that the tire has worn down... they don't rub anymore.
I don't think the rubbing is too big a deal. If I asked you to look for it, you'd probably take a while to spot it.
