just got this in the mail today and changed my mind on doing it so here it is brand new just took it apart to see if it had a slot for the chip im looking to get 30$ shipped to the US thats a few $ less then what i payed here are some pics.

yea lol i change my mind fast actualy before it got here i knew i was going to try and sell it just becouse i dont wanna have to go thro taking the other one apart putting the guts in this one getting it cut and then programing it(i think you have to anyways could be wrong).

 

Where did you find such a thing at? I like it because it has the "H" emblem on it.

 

there on ebay i got it from some guy on there he has alot of different ones like 3 button+panic 2 button 2 button with panic things like that i think mine came to $33 and some change.

Could this work with a base key and separate keyless entry?

 

i dont believe u would need to get this reprogrammed as you would be taking everything out. I would think the programing would just be for the immobilizer..But yea, i didnt get one cause i didnt want the hassle of getting it cut either..

I'm guessing to get it cut , programed to use ain't cheap. isn't it @ 100$ just to get a replacement? of the key we have now ?

Depends on the shape of the keyless entry fob.

All this is, is a casing for the Sport key-keyless entry transmitter and the immobilizer.

To get this to work with a Sport key, you have to take your sport key apart and transplant the transmitter and immobilizer to the new case. Then you have to get the key cut.

I would have to say no.

 

Pwnstar, what are the inside dimensions of the casing? I wanna see if the circuit board from my keyless remote would fit.
