No, the "skyroof" is not an option in North America. What I'd really love to know if Canada is going to have VSA (Stability Assist) as an option, as per the US? Theirs is apparently only available on their Sport model (US only has Base or Sport). In Canada, we have the Base, LX, and Sport so I'm dying to know: a. will stability assist be offered in Canada and b. on which trim level(s)?

Also note that when you call dealers, they may tell you when they'll have 2009 Fits available for YOU to buy. I believe that the first allotment at most dealerships has been reserved on pre-order. For those people, mid September seems right for delivery. For others waiting for future allotments, November would be right. Just be sure that the information you get is specific so you know when a car will be available for you to buy. Oh and, if I were you, I'd put in my pre-order/deposit NOW! I put mine in July 15 and am promised a car by mid September (first allotment)...
