Honda Fit Sales flyer

Very cool! Thanks for posting.
I would not read too much into the image of the RS shown on page 2. The US is basically getting an RS in the form of an EX 6MT, that lacks small accessorized details, that I do not think Honda would spin into a different model. Yes, I too would like the LEDs, the rear disks, and auto A/C, but those features do not a unique model make.
The only Dream that one could have might be that someday, at least 2 years from now, Honda uses one of its new higher output turbo engines in a Fit to produce a performance model. I think this decision could be driven by how well the new version Fit and the HR-V sell and how much additional capacity might be available at the new manufacturing plant that Honda might chose to fill with a performance model Fit.

Yep. Probably the brochure designer doesn't know much about the actual car and was just given info to put in there and picked photos from a database/collection that they liked the look of.

I love automatic climate control. Even if we don't get it, the vehicle is built on a global chassis. Which means parts from other country's should work in the US fit.
I plan on leasing so if a better model comes out I'll trade up.

For performance there are other models (like TSX, CRZ, civic SI, etc). To me, putting a performance engine in Fit is kind of like butting a turbo engine into a stroller.
Fit is fine the way it is, only sucks it has a poor coefficient of drag (0.33 :|) Wish it was closer to what Prius gets, way under .30. The Fit would then average 42+ mpg on a regular basis. Also would be nice if some new Fits shipped from Japan.
I am honest, I am wary of Mexico built cars

Add far as a turbo/high performance variant, I think there is a market for that. In my case, I need the space that the Fit orders, bit would love a civic si. I think putting the si engine, with upgraded tires, brakes would be sass great option.

I know Honda has a new turbo 3cyl 1.0L . I can see them most likely putting in in the HRV and the rumored Fit sedan. This would bring it right into the same class as the fiesta 1.0 ecoboost.
And I highly doubt they intentionally had the Fit get less mpg than an accord hybrid. No way are people cross shopping for an Accord with the Fit.

Yeah…. there's something about the southern Mexican climate that messes-up the robots.
But again, rest assured Honda Japan will sufficient numbers of "Quality Control Engineers" on site…. insert Samurai Warrior picture here….
