Paint Scraped

Well I just parallel parked and took my eyes off the backup camera when bump.... Looked at the back bumper and there is a small nick in the bumper paint where you can see a little white now.. My car is black....

Nick is maybe a quarter of a inch long.. I forgot to take a picture.

My question is, can I touch up the paint? Is this even something that anyone can do? Is it worth it, or should I just ignore it?

The car is only 3 weeks old... I am pretty pissed.

I would try buffing it out as suggested - if that doesn't work Honda does sell touch up paint. You can probably find it online - but chances are you will get it cheaper at your dealership as shipping charges from most online places will probably make it too expensive... I think the touch up paint bottle is only about $10 or less...

I went out to get a picture... Looks like its two scratches, one on top that is not that bad, and the big one is in the middle, you can see the screw head impression from the license place I backed into....

I am thinking of taking it to a body shop to see how much it would cost to have it fixed, but I sorta feel like that might be a little too crazy to do.

you are looking at 300-500!! while you're at it, maybe u'd wanna look into doing a JDM conversion. used bumpers on yahoo auctions japan is going cheap! plus the honor to be the first USDM GK with a JDM rear bumper conversion!

The shorter jdm bumper could make future minor bumps like this more damaging...seems like it would be REALLY easy to ding up the lift gate, but it does give the car a cleaner look

Not sure of the logic of removing a safety feature just to get a different look. Could the rear bumper accessory be used to cover the top scratch? The lower one looks like something that a skilled person could fill in and fix with touch up paint.

Bernardi sells the touch up paint. I actually got a small knick on the side of the car and I used the touch up paint sold at Bernardi. Works great! It has a brush and pen side. I just used the pen side and you can't even notice the chipped area any more unless u look really closely.

Get some touch-up paint from the dealer. Then Goolge paint chip repair. It's a pretty easy fix. Next step - get some of this and put it on you bumpers, front and rear. You can also put it on the door sills.

Its really minor.
Buy some touch up paint and have a reputable detailer apply it and buff it out.
I had a worse one on my 13 ge8 and my detailer fixed it. Couldn’t even tell it was ever scratched.
