Make sure to clean the caliper really well, remove the rubber boots or tape them off.

I' say brake caliper color depends on the color of the car and what "look" you're going for. While we all may give our input on what looks good and what doesn't, it is ultimately your car and you get to make the decision and suffer the ridicule if it looks dumb or bask in our praises and compliments if it looks good.

Caliper Paint

I painted calipers red a couple days after purchase, before they got dirty. Will be painting the drums flat black (they're already black). Personally think red-DRUMS might look a little tacky (REDRUM!!). I used DupliColor brush-on paint kit I bought at PepBoys. Sorry no pics with wheels on as I have stock=steelys/hub caps so there's nothing to see till I get some wheels

More PICS in my "CALIPER PAINT" folder, link below

Did mine last night. Used Dupli-Color BCP100 Red Brake Caliper Aerosol - 12 oz. From Amazon for $9.11. There still is half a can left. Should cover 2 more calipers. Maybe I'll do my wife's Lexus after!!!!
Honda heat resistant sticker is from Ebay.

Some over-spray but its all hidden with the wheels installed.

How about zombie green with international orange polka dots?

Don't forget the "Brembo" stickers! "Lockheed" if you're old skool.

I think painted calipers look good if you have brembos or something like that. It looks sort of bad on normal base brakes IMO.

Not a huge fan of painted caliPers when they're as small as the Fit's are, but I do agree it can add a little something. If you like it OP go for it, don't wait for our approval. It's your car, not ours.

That would look awesome with the grey. There's really no point in any of this but that it looks "better", Like women with no bra, nipples pokin' through ... details are cool!

And it's fun! Live while you're still livin' ... sleep when you're dead!
